Shaken, Not Stirred 3.1

Shaken Not Stirred is a freeware jukebox program for people who like to hear some songs played very often and others only occasionally. The frequency of play is based on the 1 to 5 stars rating you assign in Windows Media Player. The program generates shuffled playlists by randomly selecting songs from your entire collection, new songs, specified genres and/or existing playlists, or from any combination of those as you choose. How much more often favored songs are played, and how repetitions are separated, are options controlled by the user. The random playlist can be created in .wpl format for syncing to your MP3 player or phone with Windows Media Player, or in .m3u or .m3u8 format for other sync programs. The program uses Windows Media Player’s database to know what songs are in your collection, and what their ratings are for setting how often to play each song. If you use Windows Media Player to sync your player, and have assigned song ratings (1 to 5 stars), no preparation is needed and you can generate shuffled playlists with Shaken Not Stirred a few minutes after you download it. Those who don’t use Windows Media Player will need to complete some additional steps, as described in the Help section. Shaken, Not Stirred also has an added utility for batch copying album art files to your MP3 player (only useful for players that don’t handle it correctly during sync). · Bug fix for resetting default play frequency. · Added info in Help file for use with phones, particularly Android phones.
