The Amortization Schedule for Excel spreadsheet creates an amortization schedule or payment schedule for a fixed-rate loan, with optional extra payments. The payment frequency can be annual, semi-annual, quarterly, bi-monthly, monthly, semi-monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly. Values are rounded to the nearest cent, or the rounding can be turned off. The last payment is adjusted to bring the balance to zero. The compound period can be set based on US or Canadian mortgages. You can select whether payments are due at the end or beginning of the payment period.

What’s new in this version: Version 1.6 can make multiple copies of the loan schedule within the same workbook allowing you to compare different loans.

By installing the Compatibility Pack in addition to Microsoft Office 2000, Office XP, or Office 2003, you will be able open, edit, and save files using the file formats new to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007. The Compatibility Pack can also be used in conjunction with the Microsoft Office Word Viewer 2003, Excel Viewer 2003, and PowerPoint Viewer 2003 to view files saved in these new formats.
